Lucky Grandma

In the heart of Chinatown, New York, a grumpy, chain-smoking, newly widowed 80-year-old grandmother (Tsai Chin) wants to live an independent life, despite her family’s concerns. When a local fortune teller (Wai Ching Ho) predicts a lucky day in her future, the grandmother decides to go to the casino and bet everything, but ends up on the wrong side of luck – and suddenly attracts the attention of some local gangsters. In desperation to protect herself, the grandmother hires the services of a bodyguard (Corey Ha) from a rival gang and soon finds herself in the middle of a gang war in Chinatown.
